The American Bar Association (ABA) has promoted Martin "Marty" Balogh to associate executive director of its Meetings and Travel Group, it announced today.
Balogh, who will report directly to ABA Executive Director Jack Rives, has been with ABA for 33 years, most recently as director of Meetings and Travel. In his new position, he will oversee a staff of 25 and supervise all aspects of ABA meetings and travel, including the development of new meetings that strengthen ABA's value proposition for its members.
Filling Balogh's previous position is Faye Brooks, a 24-year ABA veteran who served most recently as deputy director of Meetings and Travel.
