Airport Officials Challenge Homeland Security Claim of Delays

Officials at the domestic airports sited has having long delays due to sequestration in a statement by Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano are are denying that that claim. 

“We haven’t had any slowdowns at all,” said Marshall Lowe, a spokesman for Los Angeles International Airport, one of the airports named by Ms. Napolitano, The Telegraph reported

Chicago’s O’Hare and Atlanta’s Hartfield-Jackson airports were also cited by Napolitano as suffering from long security checkpoint lines. The Telegraph reported Tuesday, however, that officials with these airports denied any longer lines or airline delays.
