Eighty-three association executives have earned its Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential this winter, the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) announced yesterday.
The Winter 2011 CAE class completed the CAE examination on Dec. 3, 2010, and will be honored along with the Summer 2011 CAE class during ASAE's 2011 Annual Meeting & Exposition, taking place Aug. 6-9 in St. Louis.
"Congratulations to the 83 new CAEs who have demonstrated mastery of the knowledge essential to association management," said CAE Commission Chair Sara Blair Lake, J.D., CAE. "The CAE certification not only sets the standard of knowledge for association professionals to achieve, but also defines the profession of association management itself."
The Winter 2011 CAE class joins more than 3,500 industry leaders worldwide who've already earned the CAE distinction, which requires passing a rigorous examination on all aspects of association management.
The next CAE examination will be administered on May 6, 2011. The application deadline is Feb. 11.
