ACTE Executive Director Resigns

The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) has announced the resignation of executive director Ron DiLeo effective December 1 to serve as president and CEO of AirPlus.

“We have been very fortunate to have someone as dynamic as Ron DiLeo leading ACTE into the next generation of our Association’s work, growth and education,” ACTE president Suzanne Neufang says.  “Under Ron’s leadership as Executive Director, ACTE has accomplished a great deal, including the expansion into two new markets and the launch of several new global initiatives which have energized our membership and sponsor base.”

Neufang announced that ACTE is actively searching for association's next executive director. Over the next several months, ACTE will finalize its decision and share an announcement with ACTE members and the public.

According to Ron DiLeo, “Leaving my position as executive director of ACTE was a difficult decision. I am privileged to have been given the honor to serve ACTE in this capacity during the past two years. In my new role as president and CEO of AirPlus, I will remain very much dedicated to furthering developments in the business travel industry.  I look forward to volunteering my time to remain actively involved in ACTE’s continued growth and advancement.”
