Wyndham Expands in Texas

Parsippany, NJ -- Wyndham Hotels has expanded its presence in Texas with hotel openings in Austin, El Paso, and McAllen.

Each hotel is a conversion from another brand and is located near the airport serving its respective city. Guest rooms feature new brand amenities that include better in-room lighting, a combination alarm clock-radio-mp3 player, and a lounge chair that is equipped with table arms and built-in jacks for Internet access and electric power.

Wyndham's new hotels in Texas are the following:

--Wyndham Garden Hotel-Austin, previously the Woodward Hotel and Conference Center, a 210-room property with 10,500 square feet of meeting space.

--Wyndham El Paso Airport Hotel, formerly the Hilton El Paso Airport Hotel, a 272-room property with more than 17,000 square feet of meeting space. The hotel features the city's largest hotel ballroom and largest swimming pool.

--Wyndham Garden Hotel-McAllen, formerly a Four Points by Sheraton, a 147-room property with nearly 5,500 square feet of meeting space and the only full-service hotel located near McAllen International Airport.
