Real Hospitality Group Adds 8 New Hotels to Portfolio

Real Hospitality Group (RHG) is celebrating the the end of 2016 and beginning of 2017 with the opening of eight new properties in New York City, Miami, Maryland and New Jersey.

"Launching these locations sets the tone for the next phase of growth in 2017, with new channels of business relationships and expansion into new markets that continue targeting long-range growth and asset management," Ben Seidel, president and CEO of RHG, said in a statement.

Here's a glance at RHG's newest and upcoming assets.

The 232-room dual branded Hilton Garden Inn Miami Dolphin Mall and Homewood Suites by Hilton Miami Dolphin Mall opened in September. The 11-story tower is host to the 132-room Hilton Garden Inn and 100-room Homewood Suites by Hilton. The properties have 5,500 square feet of meeting space, including the divisible Flamingo Ballroom, which can seat up to 180 guests, and the Sandpiper meeting room, which can accommodate cocktail receptions up to 225 guests and offers 1,200 square feet of private terrace. 

Construction is wrapping up on the 176-room Aloft Long Island City - Manhattan View in Queens set to open later this month. The hotel will offer Manhattan skyline views from its rooftop terrace and guest rooms, an indoor courtyard, and 1,400 square feet of meeting space.

Across the East river, the 148-room Four Points by Sheraton Manhattan Midtown West will debut in December as part of a new Hudson Yards development project. Also to open later this year is the 125-room Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott North Bergen, NJ, which will boast a large exercise facility and executive meeting space.

In January 2017, the 150-room Hyatt House New York/Chelsea is slated to open. The extended-stay hotel will feature apartment-style suites and spacious guest rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows, many with full kitchenettes. Room blocks of 10 or more are available from the hotel. If booked, groups will be set up with an exclusive online booking page. 

Later, in February 2017, the 70-room Hotel RL by Red Lion Brooklyn Bed-Stuy and the 125-room Fairfield Inn & Suites Ocean City are scheduled to open their doors.
