Pullman Deploys MeetingMatrix Software at Convention Hotels

Pullman Hotels and Resorts — Accor's brand of upscale international hotels in Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, South America and Australia — has deployed MeetingMatrix International's iPlan application across its convention hotels, Accor announced this week. The partnership, it said, is part of Pullman's plan to position itself as a meetings-industry leader.

"MeetingMatrix and Pullman share a similar core value: to embrace constant and never ending change," said MeetingMatrix CEO Jmîchaeĺe Keller. "MeetingMatrix understands both the present and future business hotel sector and Pullman is implementing a trailblazing initiative for international travelers. We both are committed to innovating and adapting to the ever changing needs of the professional event planner in today's world."

Accessible on the hotel pages of Pullman's website, the iPlan application is an interactive floor plan solution that allows meeting planners to:

• Locate hotels using an integrated digital map function;
• Consult interactive meeting room setups at Pullman hotels;
• Obtain detailed, up-to-date information about individual meeting rooms (description, photo, equipment, video);
• Determine individual meeting rooms' capacity depending on the various setup options; and
• Obtain the dimensions and surface area of individual meeting rooms.

Pullman conducted a pilot test of the iPlan application in the first quarter of 2012 at the Pullman Dortmund. The software is now being deployed at Pullman's properties in Barcelona, Paris, Berlin, Cologne, Stuttgart, Erfurt, Aix la Chapelle, Dresden and Gurgaon (India). The rollout will continue at additional convention hotels in 2013.

"In 2011, our hotels hosted over 30,000 events worldwide," said Xavier Louyot, Pullman's global marketing director. "Our surveys confirm that meeting planners expect innovation, detailed information and flexibility. Our partnership with MeetingMatrix allows us to provide these services for our meeting planner customers."
