The asset management of one of the Caribbean's favorite destination properties, Peter Island Resort, has been taken over by HVS/American Hospitality Management Company, a division of the world's largest hospitality consultancy HVS.
The goal for the 52-room, luxury resort is to "create a comprehensive business plan with an eye toward refining all aspects of the operation," said Kirby D. Payne, CHA, founder and president of HVS/American Hospitality Management Company, in a statement. HVS will assist in "refining and executing" a $30 million capital improvement plan at the property, which features three villas, a spa, secluded beaches and a marina on a 1,800-acre island. It is the largest private island in the British Virgin Islands.
In addition to Peter Island Resort, HVS/American Hospitality Management
