Washington -- Marriott International is expanding its electronic folio program, in which the hotel company emails bills to guests, to its loyalty members, with plans to extend the service to all guests.Marriott Rewards members, who number 24 million, can now check a preference box in their online profile to have their hotel bills automatically e-mailed to them for stays in North America at the company's brand hotels, according to yesterday's announcement. Marriott's brands include JW Marriott, Marriott, Marriott Conference Centers, Renaissance, and Courtyard."Many of our customers said they prefer the convenience of having their hotel bills e-mailed immediately, so they are easily and always available to them," said Amy McPherson, Marriott's executive vice president of sales and marketing. "We look forward to expanding eFolio to all customers as part of our Spirit to Serve Our Guests initiative, providing our customers with more personalized service."When the eFolio program expands to all other guests later this year, guests can choose to receive their bills by email when they check in.
