Hilton Nashville Downtown has completed the first phase of an extensive $28-million renovation. The all-suite, full-service hotel's renovation project includes upgrades to all of its 330 guest suites, 17,800 square feet of meeting space, as well as the addition of an expanded fitness center and a new executive lounge.
"We are excited to complete the first phase of this comprehensive renovation, which allows Hilton Nashville Downtown to deliver a best-in-class hotel experience in the heart of downtown Nashville," said Ray Waters, president, Turnberry Hospitality, which manages the property. "With Nashville experiencing a surge in tourism and interest from all corners of the country, these major enhancements will enable our hotel to offer new and returning guests an elevated experience that pays tribute to Nashville's rich country music heritage."
All 330 guest suites now include custom furnishings and artwork, as well as a private parlor that features a centerpiece sectional sofa, custom entertainment center wall with a 46-inch TV, and a contemporary workstation. Bathroom upgrades include granite accents, Peter Thomas Roth bath amenities, and glass-enclosed walk-in showers for king guest suites
A new 2,024-square-foot executive lounge located off the lobby has a centerpiece fireplace, a private meeting room, data ports, computers, and printers. Food-and-beverage service includes hors d'oeuvres served tapas style and an international wine list.
Additional renovations include enhancements to the grand ballroom and meeting rooms. Updated meeting rooms now feature modern lighting fixtures.
The newly renovated fitness center is twice as large as the previous one.
The second phase of the hotel's massive renovation is scheduled to be completed in early fall 2014. It includes the addition of a Trattoria Il Mulino location from iconic Il Mulino New York as well as a new lobby, lobby bar, redesigned MarketStreet restaurant, open-design business center in the lobby, and a more interactive front desk experience.
