A three-alarm fire broke out at the Monte Carlo Resort and Casino in Las Vegas today around 11am P.S.T. in the top few floors. Falling debris is causing other parts of the property to catch fire, as well, and the blaze appears to be spreading. The hotel, which is located on the Las Vegas Strip, is in the process of evacuating, with guests being directed to another MGM Mirage property for safety. Parts of Las Vegas Boulevard near the hotel are closed and traffic around the area is mounting. Whether any meeting groups have been affected is unknown, but no injuries or deaths have been reported. There is no word yet on the cause of the fire.TagsHotels and Resorts
