Currently undergoing a $100-million-dollar transformation, The Diplomat Beach Resort is set to become a complete destination resort when its makeover is unveiled in mid-January 2017.

As part of Curio - A Collection by Hilton, a global set of luxury hotels hand-picked for their character, The Diplomat Beach Resort will have reimagined guest rooms, indoor and outdoor public spaces, more than 10 new culinary concepts, and a spa.

Nestled between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway, The Diplomat Beach Resort, with 1,000 guest rooms, will now position itself as an all-inclusive property.

Its culinary offerings were recently featured during a New York City launch event. Tastes and craft cocktails were offered by Portico Beer & Wine Garden; Bristol's Burgers; Diplomat Prime; Monkitail; Point Royal, Celebrity Chef Geoffrey Zakarian's Coastal-American restaurant; and Playa, a beachfront Nuevo-Latina restaurant and bar featuring an extensive rum and tequila selection.

The property has 209,000 square feet of flexible function and meeting space that includes the 50,000-square-foot unobstructed Great Hall, four ballrooms, including the 20,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom overlooking the Atlantic, 39 additional breakout rooms, and outdoor special event areas including the pool deck and 33rd floor lounge space.
