Extending its "Meet in Style" campaign, launched 18 months ago, Paris-based Concorde Hotels & Resorts has extended its reach to the meetings and conventions market with a new dedicated Web page for meeting and event planners.
The site, at
www.concorde-hotels.com/meetings, offers detailed floor plans with pictures that show rooms set up in various styles, a tool to submit up to three requests for proposal and ready-to-use presentation materials including case studies. The site also features dedicated, customizable registration pages for attendees that can be branded and used in conference materials, and a room list manager for planners.
Concorde's Meet in Style department consists of 40 trained sales consultants who are available to work with planners from a centralized office. Its new Web page was built after extensive development with a customer focus group, says Francoise Houdebine, vice president of sales and marketing, and reflects the brand's commitment to groups and meetings, which make up 40 percent of its revenues.
"This new site helps planners imagine better, design better and plan more efficiently," Houdebine says.
Concorde has 33 four- and five-star hotels across Europe, North Africa, Asia and the United States, including the 750-room Hotel Concorde La Fayette with 43,000 square feet of conference space with capacity of up to 4,000 people for cocktails.
