Caesars Entertainment to Upgrade 5,700 Rooms Across Vegas, Atlantic City, and Elsewhere

Caesars Entertainment - Renovated Guest Room

Caesars Entertainment Corp. will make enhancements to more than 5,700 owned or managed rooms across its portfolio this year, including more than 4,800 rooms at four of its Las Vegas resorts and more than 900 rooms at three of its regional casinos, it announced last week. The rooms, which represent approximately 20 percent of the company's Las Vegas room stock and 15 percent of the rooms across its enterprise, bring the company's renovated room inventory to more than 10,000 rooms in the last three years.

Among the rooms in line for a makeover in Las Vegas are 586 rooms in the original tower at Caesars Palace -- newly branded as the Julius Tower -- and 948 rooms in the Augustus Tower, also at Caesars Palace, as well as 1,294 rooms at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, 1,320 rooms at Paris Las Vegas, and 672 rooms at Harrah's Las Vegas. Regional properties due for an upgrade, meanwhile, are Harrah's Gulf Coast in Biloxi, MS, which will renovate 499 rooms; Caesars Atlantic City in Atlantic City, NJ, which will renovate 274 rooms; and Horseshoe Tunica in Robinsonville, MS, which will renovate 193 rooms.

"These enhancements will substantially improve room product … consistent with our commitment to exceed our guests' expectations," Caesars Entertainment President and CEO Mark P. Frissora said in a statement. "We are re-investing in our room product to ensure that our guests' in-room experience perfectly aligns with the extraordinary entertainment offerings we have developed and upgraded in recent years."
