When it opened in January, the Wyndham Grand Resort Clearwater Beach in Clearwater Beach, FL, impressed with 343 guest rooms, 105 timeshare suites, a large pool and pool deck, a fitness center, several restaurants, and 22,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 10,632-square-foot ballroom that is the largest in Clearwater Beach.
Perhaps the only thing missing from its amenities was a spa -- until now, according to the resort, which yesterday announced the opening of The Pallavi Luxury Spa, a full-service spa designed and operated by WTS International.
Totaling 5,700 square feet, the new spa features six treatment rooms, including a couple's suite, as well as a hot tub, a full-service changing room, a steam room, and an experience shower.
"Pallavi" -- Sanskrit for "new leaf" -- isn't just the spa's name. Its also the theme behind the spa's treatments, such as the Poultice massage, which is inspired by the healing practices of India and promotes circulation and lymphatic drainage; the Thousand Flower Detox Wrap, which uses green tea to encourage skin health and detoxification; and the Aroma Stone Massage, which uses Balinese stones bathed in fragrant body oils to hydrate skin and relieve muscle tension.
Said spa director Anaelys Napoles, "The Pallavi Luxury Spa features distinctive treatments and a tranquil environment designed to create a truly transformative experience for our guests that complements the casual, yet sophisticated service and surroundings they will enjoy at Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach."
