Westin Hotels & Resorts is coming to Music City, according to Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, which announced last week that the new Westin Nashville will open this fall adjacent to Music City Center, Nashville's new downtown convention center.
"We are very pleased to join the hospitality community in Nashville," said Paul Wischermann, president and CEO of Wischermann Partners, which will manage the hotel for Westin. "The entertainment and music industry has created an international draw to this city, which is unlike any other destination in the United States. We are committed to building a long-lasting relationship with the city, its business community, and its residents."
The Westin Nashville will have 454 guest rooms; a spa with nine treatment rooms; two signature restaurants; 20,000 square feet of meetings space; and a rooftop venue featuring a pool, food and beverage, live entertainment, and a private space for events.
"We are truly excited to see this highly anticipated project come to life later this year," said Ray Waters, the hotel's general manager. "We are building a world-class team whose focus will be on creating memorable experiences for our guests who are discovering the great city of Nashville."
