Starwood Hotels & Resorts announced the opening this week of The Westin Mount Laurel in southern New Jersey, just outside of downtown Philadelphia. With the Westin brand's signature amenities, including luxurious bedding, in-room high-speed Internet access and on-premise fine dining, the hotel intends to bring "personal renewal" both to guests and to the region.
"The Westin Mount Laurel promises to invigorate southern New Jersey's hotel market with its signature blend of sophistication and rejuvenation," Westin Senior Vice President Sue Brush said in a statement. "We invite visitors to indulge in the sensory-rich Westin experience, designed to send guests home feeling even better than when they arrived."
Situated near Philadelphia's historic sites, as well as the beaches on New Jersey's Atlantic coast, the new hotel includes 180 guest rooms, including 10 junior suites. What's more, it offers more than 20,000 square feet of meeting space to accommodate both small gatherings, for as few as 10 people, and large events, for as many as 1,000 people.
