Westin Grand Cayman Announces Property-Wide Renovation

Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa

The Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, will commence a floor-to-ceiling redesign this summer, it announced yesterday.

Scheduled for completion in December, phase one of the renovation will encompass the resort's lobby, convenience store, freshwater swimming pool, fitness center, and retail outlets, all of which will be updated with a new, more modern design.

Taking place in 2017, the renovation's second phase will encompass its 343 guest rooms and suites, each of which will be renovated and redesigned, complete with a full bathroom remodel.

The resort's 9,000 square feet of indoor and 40,000 square feet of outdoor function space will remain open to groups throughout the renovation.

"Westin Grand Cayman Seven Mile Beach Resort & Spa is favored by meeting planners for providing a wide array of function spaces, including access to the widest and most expansive area of the famed Seven Mile Beach," said Area Director of Sales & Marketing Marti Trieschmann. "The renovation will ensure Westin Grand Cayman continues to be a preferred destination for groups of all sizes by heightening guest experience, while also making the resort more competitive in one of the Caribbean's most popular markets."
