Westin Celebrates Topping Off of New Nashville Hotel

Work is progressing quickly on its new hotel opening this fall in downtown Nashville, Westin Hotels & Resorts reported Wednesday, when it hosted a topping off ceremony celebrating the project's latest construction milestone.

Located across the street from Nashville's new Music City Center convention center, The Westin Nashville will stand 27 stories high and have 454 guest rooms, not to mention a spa with nine treatment rooms; a state-of-the-art fitness center; two signature restaurants; a locally-inspired lobby bar and eatery; and 20,000 square feet of meeting space, including pre-function space and 12 meeting rooms.

Its crown jewel, however -- quite literally -- will be a 200-seat rooftop venue called L27. The region's tallest rooftop bar, it will encompass a pool with cabanas for rent (pictured), a bar serving food and beverage, live entertainment, and a private space for events.
