Waldorf Astoria, Hilton Open in Orlando

Two new Hilton hotels have opened in Florida as part of a new 482-acre vacation destination: Waldorf Astoria Orlando and Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek. The development, known as Bonnet Creek, is surrounded by Disney World on three sides yet secluded by a private nature reserve. The 497-key Waldorf Astoria features a wide array of F&B outlets, including Peacock Alley, located in the heart of the main lobby; Bull & Bear Steakhouse, which houses a mahogany bar and private dining room; Oscar's, an American brasserie; Sir Harry's Lounge; Aquamarine, offering poolside cuisine; and RJ's Grille at the Waldorf Astoria Golf Club.

Chic cabanas surround a swimming pool; other recreational amenities include a championship golf course, volleyball court, fitness center, and jogging paths. Meanwhile, the 24,000-square-foot Waldorf Astoria Spa by Guerlain features 23 luxuriously appointed indoor treatment rooms and six outdoor treatment areas. Meeting space encompasses 28,000 square feet of ballrooms, executive board rooms, and meeting rooms.

At the 1,000-key Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, six distinct dining venues are available: a modern Italian country kitchen called La Luce, Harvest Bistro, coffee and dessert bar Sucre, poolside eatery Beech, and Sena Bar + Lounge, and Zeta Bar. The hotel also offers 122,000 square feet of meeting and pre-function space, featuring the 36,000-square-foot Bonnet Creek ballroom, 27,500-square-foot junior ballroom, and a total of 42 meeting rooms. Outdoor amenities include an a family fun area with a waterslide and a sprawling free-form pool.
