Viceroy Hotels & Resorts will unveil its first mountain property, Viceroy Snowmass, on Nov. 25, just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday, it announced last month. Located near Aspen, Colo., the hotel will feature 173 guest rooms and 9,000 square feet of flexible meeting space.
"Snowmass is the perfect setting for Viceroy's first mountain resort," Viceroy Hotel Group President Nicholas Clayton said in a statement. "The new property exudes Viceroy style, with remarkable interior design, a superb location and exceptional amenities to draw discerning travelers to one of the finest ski mountains in the world."
In pursuit of group business, Viceroy Snowmass has joined Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) and will be marketed through ALHI's network of 16 National Sales Offices.
"Viceroy Snowmass is an exciting new venue in Aspen/Snowmass that will be exceptional for group programs," said ALHI President and CEO David Gabri. "Aspen/Snowmass is a much sought after destination, and this incredible brand new resort is sure to elevate any meeting experience."
Designed to achieve LEED Silver certification, Viceroy Snowmass offers guest rooms ranging from studios to expansive four-bedroom residences featuring contemporary alpine décor and expansive mountain views.
Along with meeting space, amenities include: a fine-dining restaurant with a glimmering display kitchen and private dining rooms; an 87-foot-long glass-topped après-ski bar; a lounge designed around a double-sided fireplace; slopeside ski valet services, which guests will be able to use to transfer their skis to any of the area's four ski mountains; a full-service spa; a fitness room; a pool café; and a slopeside pool terrace, which will include permanent cabanas with fire design elements.
