The Topnotch Resort & Spa in Stowe, Vt. has unveiled a new expansion plan that includes the construction of a "wedding barn" for a variety of functions. New meeting rooms and boardrooms will be added as well.
The resort, which recently upgraded its spa and renovated its guestrooms, also plans to build two new outdoor swimming pools this summer and a poolside, patio-style restaurant.
By December 2007, 70 new guest- rooms will be added - which will double the size of the resort - and the event barn and eight new outdoor tennis courts will be built.
"We are going all out to make Topnotch a true five-star resort," said general manager Dan Oberlander.
