The Top 10 City Skylines has come up with this list of the 10 most stunning skylines in the world. We've also included some stories to help you plan your next meeting in one of these destinations.

1. Hong Kong
Hong Kong boasts more skyscrapers than any other city on Earth. Some standout buildings are I. M. Pei’s Bank of China Tower and the 1,588-foot-tall International Commerce Centre.

2. New York
This skyline includes the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, and the MetLife Building, to name just a few.

3. Sydney
The Sydney Opera House is one of the world's most recognizable buildings, and no wonder. It looks like a fast-moving sailboat.

4. Rio de Janeiro
The city’s Christ the Redeemer statue atop Corcovado Mountain can be seen from miles away, and Rio's skyline also includes preserved churches and buildings from the 1500s.

5. Paris
Paris's skyline isn't too high, but that doesn't mean it's not romantic. The Eiffel Tower and the Sacré Coeur Basilica at the top of Montmartre stand out simply because there aren't too many tall buildings around them.

6. Dubai
Dubai’s growth over the last 15 years has been rapid, and many of the buildings in its skyline were constructed within the last five years. Look up to see the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world.

7. Chicago
The world's first skyscraper was the Home Insurance Building in Chicago, completed in 1885. The city is also home to the Willis (Sears) Tower, which was for many years the world's tallest building.

8. Kuala Lumpur
The iconic Petronas Twin Towers, designed by Argentine architect Cesar Pelli, are fitting symbols for one of the fastest growing cities in Asia.

9. Shanghai
Shanghai's eclectic skyline features Art Deco, neoclassical, and traditional Jiangnan architecture, not to mention the rocket-like Oriental Pearl Radio & TV Tower.

10. Moscow
Moscow’s skyline is one of the world's most unique and colorful, from the Technicolor domes of Saint Basil’s Cathedral to the seven massive skyscrapers positioned at equal distances from the Kremlin.
