The Time New York Unveils New Meeting Spaces

The Time New York - Glass Pavilion

Following a $20 million renovation, The Time New York hotel in New York's Times Square has unveiled four new meeting spaces for small and mid-sized groups, it announced yesterday.

Designed by acclaimed hospitality designer David Rockwell of Rockwell Group, the 193-room hotel's new meeting spaces are:

• The Penthouse, a 2,000-square-foot triplex penthouse suite that includes a 500-square-foot private balcony and two outdoor terraces offering panoramic views of the Hudson River. Designed for corporate events, intimate dinners, and private cocktail receptions, it can host up to 50 guests.

• The Glass Pavilion (pictured), a 450-square-foot atrium located adjacent to The Penthouse on the top floor of the hotel, where its floor-to-ceiling glass windows offer 360-degree views of Times Square. Designed for celebratory functions and small working sessions, it can accommodate 30 guests seated or 40 guests for a reception.

• The Boardroom, a 500-square-foot boardroom for both corporate events and personal gatherings that can accommodate up to 24 guests seated and 35 standing.

• Le Grande Lounge, a 2,000-square-foot lounge located on the hotel's mezzanine level that's available for a full buyout for private functions or corporate events up to 40 guests standing.

"At The Time, we take pride in being able to offer our guests the best of both business and pleasure," said General Manager Kanvar Singh. "Inspired by modern art and the infinite concept of time, our private event spaces evoke a welcoming yet refined design sensibility, and I'm thrilled to introduce these new offerings to our guests."
