The Divi Little Bay Beach Resort in St. Maarten finished converting fourteen of its hillside casita units into nine one-bedroom timeshare suites on December 1st. Work is underway on converting thirty-six beachfront hotel rooms into 12 more one-bedroom and four two-bedroom timeshare units by 2008. Each unit will feature LCD flat screen televisions, iPod docking stations, whirlpool tubs, and more. Renovations are being made throughout the rest of the resort, as well. All oceanview suites will receive new furniture, flooring, cabinets, appliances, and linens. Toucans Café and the Sea Breeze Restaurant are also replacing their furniture, and the SeaBreeze Pool deck has been resurfaced in Brazilian stone.
