St. Maarten's Princess Juliana International Airport's construction on its new terminal building is nearing completion. The terminal building will open officially on November 10, 2006. A total of $90 million has been invested in the terminal project, which will include check-in and baggage-reclaim facilities on the first floor, and a departure lounge and main shopping area on the second.
