Southwest Expands Denver Service

Southwest Airlines has added three new nonstop destinations from Denver International Airport (DIA), it announced last week.


Effective June 5, 2011, the airline is offering one new daily nonstop flight between Denver and each of the following destinations: Columbus, Ohio; Jacksonville, Fla.; and Pittsburgh, Pa.

Southwest began service to Denver on Jan. 3, 2006, with 13 daily nonstop departures to three destinations. The airline currently operates 141 daily nonstop flights from the Mile High City, and by June will offer 150 to 45 destinations.
