The luxury property will include 100 over-water and beach-side villas — each built at a cost in excess of $1 million — with five featuring private swimming pools suspended over a lagoon and two secluded near the beach with access to a private helicopter pad. There will also be a 13,000-square-foot "Royal Estate," the largest and most luxurious villa in the South Seas, according to St. Regis.
Room amenities will include Jacuzzis, full kitchens, wireless Internet and both 24-hour butler and room service.
Guests will be able to dine at three restaurants, including a signature venue with the island's first sushi bar. They also will be able to rejunvenate themselves at a 13,000-square-foot spa located on its own private island.
