Tintswalo Lodges has announced the opening of its second boutique hotel - Tintswalo at Waterfall. This
sister property of Tintswalo Safari Lodge is set to open in November 2006, and is located on the grounds of the 500-acre Waterfall Country & Equestrian Estate.
The building, designed to emulate a barn with thick, stone-clad walls, double volume spaces and heavy bolted timber roof trusses, houses 16
rooms, complete with custom-designed furnishings
evoking a true South African country estate. Just 10 minutes north of the Sandton Central Business District (CBD), Tintswalo at Waterfall also has executive boardrooms catering to groups of up to 45 attendees.
Among Tintswalo at Waterfall’s offerings and amenities are a full sized dining room with both indoor and outdoor seating and an underground wine cellar. A full-service hydro-therapy spa and a fully-equipped gym is also present on the estate, as well as a three-mile walking trail.
VIP transportation is available for transfers to and from Johannesburg International Airport, as are guided day tours and shopping expeditions.
