Sheraton Completes $46 Million Conversion of Fort Worth Ramada

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide recently announced the opening of the Sheraton Forth Worth Hotel and Spa, its first property in Fort Worth, Texas. Formerly a Ramada, the hotel underwent a $46 million renovation on its way to rebirth as a Sheraton.

"With our multimillion dollar hotel transformation, the Sheraton Forth Worth Hotel and Spa will truly establish itself as one of the leading hotel choices in Forth Worth and the metroplex," Guneet Bajwa, executive vice president of Presidio Companies—which owns the new Sheraton hotel—said in a statement.

With 430 rooms, the Sheraton Forth Worth is conveniently located in downtown Forth Worth, less than a block from the recently expanded Fort Worth Convention Center. Its in-room amenities include 32-inch flat panel HD televisions and high-speed wireless Internet access. Its public space, meanwhile, includes 22,000 square feet of flexible meeting and exhibit space that's staffed by a team of professional catering and audio/visual personnel.

The Sheraton Fort Worth Hotel and Spa is the newest of 20 Starwood properties in Texas. For more information, visit www.starwoodhotels.com.
