Roosevelt Hotel Announces Room Redesign in New York City

The Roosevelt Hotel in New York City has begun work on a multi-million dollar redesign of its 1,015 guest rooms and suites, it announced yesterday.

Built in 1924, the hotel is located in Midtown Manhattan and has over 30,000 square feet of meeting space. Scheduled for completion by February 2012, its guest room renovation will include new carpeting, furniture, fixtures and décor.

"This renovation is the icing on the cake for the hotel, as it follows numerous improvements over the recent years, including Vander Bar — the hotel's newest watering hole, which opened in 2010 — mad46 Rooftop Lounge, which will be going into its fourth season, the new flat-screen TVs in all rooms, Wi-Fi and the new guest beds," said General Manager John Trovato.
