The Ritz-Carlton Chicago, a Four Seasons Hotel, will unveil in May a multi-million dollar renovation of its 435 guest rooms, it announced this month.
The renovation, which is among the most extensive in the property's history, includes a complete refurbishment of guest room interiors, which have been updated with new window treatments, new custom furnishings, new lighting, new wall coverings and new carpet.
Guest rooms were also outfitted with new technology, including upgraded high-speed wireless Internet and 42-inch flat-screen televisions.
Finally, guest rooms were given green facelifts—outfitted, for instance, with sustainable features such as compact fluorescent lighting as part of the hotel's Green Seal Certification.
