The Myrtle Beach Marriott Resort & Spa at Grande Dunes has completed a $14 million makeover, including a complete transformation of its 405 guest rooms. The renovation, which started October 2016, worked to give the property a new look, with a higher level of sophistication, clean lines, and spacious design.
"We believe our guests will be pleased and delighted with these renovations," says Cindy Hull, director of sales and marketing for the property, which is set on the northern end of Myrtle Beach, SC. "The Myrtle Beach Marriott has always set a high standard among the oceanfront hotels here along the Grand Strand, and these upgrades will define a new benchmark of luxury moving forward."
The resort includes 45,000 square feet of meeting space as well as upper and lower pool decks that are often used for outdoor receptions by the ocean, a spa, two swimming pools, a health club, and championship golf and tennis.
It's one more attraction to the popular meetings destination of Myrtle Beach. The destination features 60 miles of pristine coastline, a 1.2-mile oceanfront boardwalk, 100 golf courses, three shopping malls, two outlet centers, a multitude of entertainment attractions, and world-class restaurants in what is considered the "seafood capital of South Carolina." Plus, this isn't a locale where the sidewalks are rolled up at night.
