Reno's Grand Sierra Resort Completes Meeting Space Upgrades

The Grand Sierra Resort and Casino in Reno, Nev., has finished work on more than $5 million in meeting space renovations. The resort, which boasts the country's 11th largest convention space, now has 200,000 square feet of fully upgraded meeting space.

Among the resort's upgrades are many facility improvements, including fresh paint and enhanced lighting, as well as new carpet, furniture and wall coverings. The resort also installed new front entrance doors, not to mention a cutting-edge audio/visual system.

Located in its own wing, separate from the rest of the resort, the Grand Sierra's new-and-improved convention space can host groups as small as 10 and as large as 4,000. Already the resort hosts at least 70 conventions a year, plus more than 1,100 non-convention business travelers a month. With its upgraded meeting space, the resort no doubt hopes to host even higher numbers.
