Radisson Hotel & Suites Guatemala City has commenced an expansion project encompassing its guest rooms and meeting space, it announced last week. Scheduled for completion by the end of 2014, the project will include:
• Twenty new guest rooms, bringing the hotel’s total to 151 guest rooms;
• Three new executive meeting rooms, designed to mirror an executive’s office; and
• Complete remodeling of the lobby and existing meeting rooms.
“This development will enable us to grow in the corporate segment by offering more space and upgraded services to guests during their business trips,” Johannes Köhler, CEO of Grupo Azur, the hotel’s owner, said in a statement. “We are committed to a perpetual plan of progress.”
