PUERTO RICO
Rich history, amazing views, terrific cocktails -- and you don't even need a passport. Puerto Rico offers attendees no shortage of attractions during their stay, but here are a few highlights you will want to be sure to add to the itinerary.
DAY 1: SAN JUAN STUNS

Get a lay of the land with a walking tour of Old San Juan, strolling down the cobblestone streets and taking in the Spanish-influenced neoclassical architecture. The Paseo de la Princesa esplanade is ideal for a relaxing walk and viewing striking public art pieces such as the "Raíces" statue honoring Puerto Rico's cultural roots.
3:00 PM
Pay a visit to one of San Juan's forts -- El Morro and San Cristóbal --to see how Spain and then the U.S. defended its territory with cannons, barracks, and near-impenitrable walls. But beyond the history, these forts offer some of the best views in San Juan, whether looking over the city's colorful rooftops or the waves below.

Get in some shopping on Calle Fortaleza, where visitors will find stores selling everything from local handmade crafts to the highest-end luxury brands.
DAY 2: OUTDOOR ADVENTURE

About 80 minutes west of San Juan sits Parque de las Cavernas del Río Camuy, a 268-acre park of underground caves. A visit here begins with a tram ride into a vast cave before touring some of the more than 200 caverns extending under the island.
12:00 PM
Shift from the depths of the earth to the heights of the solar system with a visit to Arecibo Observatory, the site of one of the largest radio/radar telescope in the world (1,000 feet in diameter). It's visitor center includes exhibits on "Exploring the Invisible Universe" and "A Day in the Life of the Arecibo Observatory," and it will be reopening at the start of 2016 after an extensive remodel.
2:00 PM
Be sure to make time for ToroVerde, the island's new ecotourism park. Attendees can mountain climb, bike, or zipline through stunning landscapes (including the new 1.57-mile "Monster."
DAY 3: CULTURE AND COCKTAILS
12:00 PM
See where the magic happens at Casa Bacardi -- the Bacardi Rum factory, which offers tours throughout the day of this family-owned company (which moved from Cuba to Puerto Rico after the Cuban Revolution). Groups will want to be sure to sign up for a cocktail-making workshop where attendees will learn the proper way to mix a daiquiri or mojito -- and enjoy the product of their labor.
4:00 PM
Delve deep into Puerto Rican art and culture at the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico, a fine-art museum that surveys the artistic output of the island with more than 1,000 works of painting, sculpture, and more. The venue offers a number of spaces, such as the sculpture garden and Raúl Juliá Theater, which make for ideal and memorable meeting venues.
