Global DMC and event management company Pacific World is positioning itself to provide new meeting and incentive experiences in the Indian Ocean region, including India, Nepal, and Bhutan, it announced today.
The new experiences are the brainchild of Naveen Rizvi (pictured), the newly appointed regional director for Pacific World India and Indian Ocean Region, who said his focus in his new position will be on product development and innovation with regard to meetings, incentive, and event experiences.
"Our core strengths lie in our ability to efficiently handle important international conferences and events in India as well as overseas. One of my key objectives will be to bring a new and innovative perspective to every meeting and incentive organized in the region," Rizvi said. "As a global organization delivering innovative experiences in 42 countries around the world, we work with clients of all nationalities who are striving to source meaningful experiences that will move their customers. Our product development team based here in the region are working very hard to develop and innovate new proposals which will excite and delight each of our customers."
Among the latest incentive ideas that Rizvi's team has started to conceptualize are: exploring an untouched island and spending the day fishing in India, and feeding elephants with the help of a Mahout in an elephant village near Jaipur.
"We are also developing various programs in conjunction with Shaping Lives, our [corporate social responsibility] foundation, a bridge between our clients and the local population of India to give something back to the society," Rizvi concluded. "Key work includes supporting children and the elderly as well as those who have been marginalized and abused. The charity also actively pursues programs supporting animal welfare."
