Pacific Northwest Event Planning Company Opens Southern Office

Portland, Ore.-based Henry V, which describes itself as the oldest and largest event marketing company in the Pacific Northwest, has opened a second office in Charlotte, N.C., it announced this month. The office, which already has at least three employees in place, will serve existing and new clients in the southeastern United States.

"Over the years, we've produced hundreds of nationwide events for our northwest clients," Katja Asaro, Henry V's managing director of sales, said in a statement. "Now we have the opportunity to show new, Charlotte-based companies how we make an event come to life."

Henry V counts among its clients companies such as Adidas, Microsoft and The North Face, as well as Daimler Trucks North America, which recently moved its headquarters to Charlotte from Portland. While that move inspired Henry V to open its Charlotte office, the company plans to serve a variety of new and existing clients from its new Southern base.

"We are really excited about the Charlotte office opening up," Henry V Managing Director Matt Harper said in a statement. "It's the right place and right time for an east coast office and we're anticipating great results."

Heading up Henry V's Charlotte office is Catherine Hewitt, who has done event planning for companies such as Anheuser-Busch, AT&T, Southwestern Bell and Nissan. "Henry V is so far above what's currently available in Charlotte," she said. "People are opening their doors to us already."
