Orlando's Rosen Hotels to Offer Free WiFi Starting July 4

Florida's largest independent hotelier, Orlando-based Rosen Hotels & Resorts, will offer free wired and wireless Internet service at each of its three properties — the 1,500-room Rosen Shingle Creek, the 1,334-room Rosen Centre and the 800-room Rosen Plaza — beginning July 4, it announced last month.

According to the company — which assured guests that Internet costs will not be reflected in a resort fee or otherwise hidden — the move is part of its "ongoing commitment to providing exceptional value and service" to both business and leisure guests, including meeting planners and attendees, who "can now work productively and more affordably on their own schedules, from their guest room, meeting room, restaurant, lobby or even poolside."

"To us, free means free, and we thought Independence Day was the perfect time to announce this liberating change for our guests," said Rosen Hotels & Resorts President and CEO Harris Rosen. "It gives them the freedom to connect on their own terms, in the privacy of their guest rooms, without worrying about financial constraints or additional charges."
