Orange County's Hotel Hanford Becomes Crowne Plaza

Following a brand conversion, the Hotel Hanford in Orange County, Calif., is now the Crowne Plaza Costa Mesa Orange County, InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) announced this week.

Located adjacent to the popular Orange County shopping destination South Coast Plaza, and in close proximity to John Wayne Airport, as well as Disneyland, the hotel offers 224 guest rooms and 9,000 square feet of meeting space, including nearly 20 different venue options for both indoor and outdoor events.

"We're pleased to bring this Crowne Plaza hotel to the heart of Costa Mesa, especially in such a convenient location for travelers," said Gina LaBarre, vice president, Americas Brand Management, IHG. "There are several major employers in the area that will benefit from the meetings-savvy products and services that only a Crowne Plaza hotel can provide."

Nearby employers include IBM, Deloitte & Touche, Experian and Oracle.

"Because we're in such a vibrant and exciting location, our hotel serves as a hub for both business and leisure travelers, international and domestic," said General Manager Charles Haber. "We are proud to offer all of our guests first-class service, thoughtful amenities and ample meeting space taken to the next level with a comprehensive meetings program."
