One Atlanta Tower, Two Hilton-Brand Hotels

Last week, construction crews in Midtown Atlanta broke ground on a dual-branded hotel tower that will be home to two Hilton-brand hotels — a Hilton Garden Inn and a Homewood Suites by Hilton — the project's developer, North Point Hospitality Group of Alpharetta, Ga., announced last week.

"We are pleased to be able to deliver two industry leading brands to the Midtown Atlanta market," said North Point Hospitality Group President and CEO S. Jay Patel. "By building the Hilton Garden Inn and Homewood Suites by Hilton side by side, we will better accommodate a wide range of guests' lodging needs for both the business and leisure traveler in the Midtown area. The hotels' location is key. It is just minutes from Georgia Tech, Turner Broadcasting, Coca Cola, the Woodruff Arts Center and over 20 million square feet of office space."

Scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2013, the 12-story hotel tower will have a total of 226 guest rooms and meeting facilities for groups of up to 200. Other amenities will include a 110-seat full-service restaurant and lounge, an outdoor elevated pool and spa, an expanded fitness center and valet parking.
