Omni Hotels & Resorts has been contracted to manage the Wyndham Riverfront New Orleans hotel in New Orleans' Warehouse and Arts District, it announced last week.
The hotel, which has been rebranded as the Omni Riverfront Hotel, recently completed a six-month, $8 million renovation encompassing its open-air lobby, its bar, and its 202 guest rooms, each of which was updated with new furniture, carpet, bathroom tile, bathtubs, LED reading lamps, and flat-screen televisions. The renovation also included a rebranding of the hotel's restaurant and a "light refresh" of the hotel's meeting and event space, which totals nearly 4,000 square feet.
"Omni Hotels & Resorts has a long history in New Orleans, dating back almost 30 years, with the Omni Royal Orleans, and later the Omni Royal Crescent Hotel," Omni President Mike Deitemeyer said in a statement. "We are pleased to have a third hotel in this amazing city, and to help make memorable New Orleans experiences for vacationers, business travelers, and meeting attendees alike."
