Construction is set to begin Sept. 1 on a new Homewood Suites hotel in Myrtle Beach, S.C., local newspaper
The Sun News reported this week.
Located next to the Hampton Inn & Suites Myrtle Beach/Oceanfront, the Homewood Suites Oceanfront Resort & Conference Center will have 100 guest suites, a 300-seat conference center, three swimming pools, a fire pit, a fitness center, a women-only Pilates-aerobics room and an onsite bistro serving sandwiches and snacks.
The Homewood Suites chain’s only oceanfront hotel — and Myrtle Beach’s first new hotel since 2009 — the property is scheduled to open Dec. 1, 2014, according to The Sun News.
