New Orleans' Omni Royal Orleans hotel has expanded its tech offerings for meetings, it announced last week.
First, the hotel is now offering OmniLink, a mobile meeting application that meeting planners can use to share event information with attendees via their mobile devices. Features include digital wayfinding, inter-meeting messaging and video sharing, among others.
Second, the hotel has installed a new, dedicated Wi-Fi network that services its 14,000 square feet of meeting space exclusively.
Third, the property has installed new 60-inch high-definition smart TVs and new ceiling-mounted 4,000-lumen projectors.
Finally, in the months ahead, the hotel will install upgraded audio equipment and more than double its inventory of fully customizable LED lighting.
"At the Omni Royal Orleans, we realize that modern meeting technology is an important part of today's meeting planning, which is why we aim to provide the tools for meeting planners to create engaging events and interactive experiences that increase convenience and efficiency and improve participant engagement," Director of Sales & Marketing Danielle Plauche-Shaw said in a statement.
