In order to provide convention housing and travel management services for groups that are meeting in New Orleans, the New Orleans Metropolitan Convention & Visitors Bureau (NOMCVB) has entered into a multi-year strategic partnership with Chicago-based Travel Technology Group.
"Our confidence in their high-touch customer service, close hotel relations, innovative event marketing tactics and dynamic, user-friendly reservation system were the main determining factors for partnering with Travel Technology Group," NOMCVB President and CEO Stephen Perry said in a statement. "We look forward to offering their services to our hotels and visitors of New Orleans."
Among the services that Travel Technology Group will offer NOMCVB partners—including meeting planners, hotels and attendees—are hotel contract negotiations, group reservation assistance, room block management, audits, housing reporting and event marketing.
"Our entire team has embraced this new partnership, fully supporting New Orleans as a world-class destination for planners worldwide," Travel Technology Group Managing Director Bob Derham said in a statement. "Our tailored services will enhance the event experiences of planners, visitors and hotels alike. We are eager to start assisting New Orleans in attracting more events and visitors in the years to come."
