A new, nongaming SpringHill Suites by Marriott hotel has opened across the street from the Las Vegas Convention Center, giving meeting planners and convention attendees a new, strictly-business option for staying and meeting away from the Vegas Strip.
The new 24-floor hotel, the SpringHill Suites Las Vegas Convention Center, opened on Oct. 14 with 299 suites and five flexible meeting rooms—totaling 4,522 square feet and accommodating more than 350 people—not to mention an onsite restaurant, a lounge, and a rooftop fitness center and swimming pool.
The SpringHill Suites Las Vegas Convention Center is the fifth Marriott-brand hotel serving the convention center; the hotelier already has a Marriott, a Courtyard, a Residence Inn and a Renaissance hotel in the immediate vicinity.
