New Non-Casino Event Venue Accepting Bookings in Atlantic City

One Atlantic, Atlantic City's first over-water, non-casino event venue, has begun accepting bookings for corporate and social events, it announced this month. The venue, which extends 100 yards over the Atlantic Ocean, will open in summer 2009 with 10,000 square feet of integrated event space at the end of The Pier Shops at Caesars.

"This beautifully designed new event space greatly enhances Atlantic City's hospitality choices, as it will offer a new kind of location and the highest level of event service and facilities for corporate galas as well as every kind of social occasion," Jeffrey Vasser, executive director of the Atlantic City Conventions and Visitors Association, said in a statement.

When it opens, One Atlantic will be able to accommodate groups of between 50 and 1,000, including seated banquets for as many as 500 attendees. In addition to flexible indoor meeting rooms, it will feature a 2,000-square-foot outdoor terrace for as many as 200 attendees.

In addition, One Atlantic will offer both on-site and off-site catering and event services, including full-service planning and production. Its menus will include Kosher, international, organic and vegetarian options.
