Marriott Opens New Hotel in Historic Bonn, Germany

Marriott Bonn World Conference Hotel

Dating back to the first century B.C., when it was a Roman settlement, Bonn is one of Germany's oldest cities. Now, it's also home to one of Germany's newest hotels, according to Marriott International, which this week announced the debut of the Marriott Bonn World Conference Hotel, opening at the end of May near the city's world-famous Museum Mile.

Totaling over 62,000 square feet, the new hotel has 17 floors, 336 guest rooms, and just over 2,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space, including three private dining areas on the hotel's top floor.

Other amenities include a rooftop restaurant with panoramic views through floor-to-ceiling windows, a fitness center, an indoor pool, and a 5,000-square-foot spa built around historic Roman remains that are incorporated into its design.
