As part of a growing trend toward "networking niches" — spaces that actively facilitate networking among meeting attendees — The Peabody Orlando has introduced a new "accommodation experience" that encourages socializing among travelers, it announced this week.
Called The Loft at The Peabody, the new boutique accommodation experience comprises 52 guest rooms within three private-access floors in the hotel's Mallard Tower.
The social hub of The Loft is a private lounge that hosts a complimentary wine reception every day from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., giving hotel guests — including meeting attendees — the opportunity to meet and engage with fellow travelers.
"Guests seeking a distinctive experience while visiting Orlando on business or vacation will appreciate the attention to detail and personalized service now offered at The Loft at The Peabody," said General Manager Barb Bowden, corporate director of revenue management for Peabody Hotels. "The Loft will serve as an exceptional complement to our remarkable meeting spaces, dining and entertainment venues."
