Meliá to Open Paris' Largest Four-Star Hotel in a Decade

This March, Spanish hotelier Meliá Hotels International will open a new hotel in the business district of Paris, it announced yesterday. The hotel, Meliá Paris La Défense, will have 369 guest rooms across 18 floors, making it the largest four-star hotel to open in Paris in the last 10 years.

Designed by Vasconi Architects, the new hotel is fashioned in the shape of a boat's said. Highlights will include a 19th-floor bar and lounge; two restaurants; a club level offering a private lounge, express check-in, a full buffet breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktails; a 19th-floor, 24-hour fitness center; and over 2,775 square feet of meeting space for up to 400 people, including eight conference rooms.
